Duties include care coordination, medication oversight, individual/group counseling and record keeping. Candidates must have prior experience in human services with preference given to individuals with CASAC, CASAC-T and/or Bachelor degree.
New Choices Recovery Center, a comprehensive chemical dependency treatment program in Schenectady, has a Residential Supervisor position available in our Men's community residential program. The Residential Supervisor oversees the day to day operations of a community residence serving men in recovery. The Supervisor is responsible for all programmatic and financial operations, supervision of staff and oversight of patients' individualized treatment plans. Applicants must be a Qualified Health Professional (CASAC, MSW, MHC) and have at least three years of clinical supervision experience in chemical dependency services.
New Choices Recovery Center, a comprehensive Chemical Dependency Treatment provider in Schenectady, has full-time and part time opportunities for Certified Recovery Peer Advocates. Certified Recovery Peer Advocates assist individuals in recovery from mental health and addiction with setting and pursuing their recovery goals, monitoring their progress, lending assistance with treatment, modeling effective coping techniques and self-help strategies and supporting self-advocacy. Candidates must have a valid Recovery Peer Advocate Certification from the New York Certification Board, familiarity with 12-step meetings, be able to cooperate and work as a team with clinicians and community resources, and must have reliable means of transportation.
