New Choices Recovery Center is excited to announce the development of substance abuse prevention services. Applicants must possess a strong desire to service the residents of Schenectady County. We are pleased to announce the availability of the following positions:
Director of Substance Abuse Prevention Services, Masters Degree preferred, CPP or CPS required; 3 years experience in human services. Ability to develop, supervise and implement prevention services in Schenectady County.
School Prevention Specialist (12 month, full-time), Masters Degree or Bachelor’s degree in education/school social work or counseling and experience working with youth and staff in schools. Ability to deliver evidenced based prevention programming to youth and families.
Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinators (12 month, full-time), Associates degree, experience in schools or human services. Willingness to serve as an advocate and model in the community.
Support Staff (12 month, full-time) Experience assisting in the management of required data, planning and implementing meetings and events, support staff in the implementation of substance abuse prevention programming.
